this project is the result of a joint effort with Architect Antoine Fadel in an attempt to create an immersive experience that depicts the story of queer culture, queer art, and consequently queer safe spaces where this culture can grow. A planned architectural promenade aimed to embody the emotional experience queer individuals undergo in their search for safe spaces and spaces of growth.

The parkour evokes a series of undefined contexts and encounters:

“The outside”, a cold and grey environment shattered by screaming contemporary life-size frame, a fringe called “The in-between,”

“The Passage,” a visual distortion created through a light tunnel to describe how it feels to be non-normative and queer.

once out this transitory state, the spaces that follow are an abstraction or a simulation of common spaces queer people identify as “safe”. They are spaces where they can grow and be themselves such as art, culture, partying and socializing, debating and raising awareness. These experiences are evoked by immersive spaces like the open closet, the mirror bar, the library, the projection space, the art space, the mapping space
